What is CMS?

CMS is short for Content Management System; it is an application designed to give users the ability to manage their web site's content.

Some websites have pages that are mainly static, and some sites have pages that need constant updating. Instead of having the site owner call me every time they need a change, it is more efficient for me to give them that ability.

However, most people don't know HTML/CSS code and do not want to bother learning. So, using a CMS, I can give users a nice user friendly interface that will allow them to manage content without knowing a bunch of geeky programming languages. The interface is similar to a Word document; they have a big open box where they can type in the text and they also have a toolbar where they can do simple tasks such as bold, italics, underline, add hyper links, spell check, etc. They can even upload images using this system.

If you are looking for an application like this, please contact us for more information.
